Gray County 4-H members showcased their culinary talents at the annual County Food Show held on Sunday, September 28. The event gave 18 youth the opportunity to present their food creations and interview with judges for the chance to advance to the District 1 4-H Food Show, scheduled for October 27 in Amarillo.
The Food Show challenges participants to select a recipe, prepare a dish, and discuss nutritional value, food safety, and preparation techniques with judges. This hands-on contest strengthens cooking skills, builds confidence, and teaches youth how to make healthy food choices.
