On Monday, June 23, the Lovett Memorial Library in Pampa welcomed special guest Kyle Groves, a renowned comedian, magician, and avid supporter of early reading.
He wowed the packed auditorium of children and parents with impressive magic tricks, telling a colorful story behind each one, and his interactions with the kids brought smiles and laughter as they assisted him in a few of his magical workings.
For many years, the Lovett Memorial Library has promoted reading for people of all ages through special programs, and every year, the ever-popular Summer Reading Program has paved the way for children to engage their minds and imagination through interactive storytelling and fun activities.
From my own personal experience growing up in the Lovett Memorial Library and attending every summer program when I was a kid, it truly is a wonderful thing to see them continue with these events that I can confidently say sparked my love for reading at an early age.
Be sure to visit the library at 111 N. Houston in Pampa Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and keep up to date with all of the events they have throughout the year!
