Maxwell’s Fall Festival Opens Its 19th Season September 26

“We’re pulling out all the stops at Maxwell’s Pumpkin Farm to celebrate America’s 250 throughout our 19th season,” said Larry Borger, Owner of Maxwell’s Pumpkin Farm.

“Opening Saturday, Sept. 26th through Nov. 1st, Maxwell’s Giant Maze is created to honor America’s 250th Anniversary featuring Lady Liberty and a Giant Flag with Red, White & Blue Photo Opps throughout the farm.”

“Veterans and Active Military receive free admission for the entire fall season by showing their I.D. We honor and appreciate their service for our country,” said Borger. “There’s nothing more

patriotic than Fireworks. We’ll have Spectacular Fireworks every Saturday in October. 

“Over 30 Interactive Attractions are offered at Maxwell’s and this year’s Fall Visitors will discover something new,” he added. “Encounter beautiful Parakeets at Maxwell’s New “Birdie Bunkhouse” and grab some “Bird Tweats” to feed them yourself, for only $1.”

•Sept. 19th - Maxwell’s distributes $5 Coupons at the Tri-State Fair Parade.

•Sept. 26th - Opening Day every child receives ONE FREE MINI PUMPKIN (while supplies last)

•Oct. 3rd - Veteran’s Appreciation Day with special gathering place & complementary refreshments

•Oct. 3rd - Coffee Memorial Blood Drive from 3pm to 6pm.

•Oct. 3rd - Live Music with the Prairie Dogs

•Oct. 5th -Little Farmers Playday – Fun Farm Day for Parents & Grands of Pre-school children

•October School Field Trips every Thursday & Friday. Each child receives 1 FREE PUMPKIN

•Oct. 17th - 10 Non-profits decorate Scarecrows to compete for a $1000 Cash Prize

“Hand-battered Corn Dogs, Chicken Baskets, Funnel Cakes, Churros and at the SMOKEHOUSE, enjoy Brisket Sandwiches, Brisket Frito Pie, Turkey Legs and Brisket Nachos as well as Ice Cream Treats at Frost Bites. There’s something for every food craving right here at Maxwell’s and we’ll have Fall Food Trucks on select Saturdays,” added Borger.

Campfire Sites

Guests to Maxwell’s can rent a Campfire site for up to two hours that includes a staff member to start your fire and provide enough wood to keep your fire blazing. Rent a small or large Shindig Shack accommodating groups up to 36 guests. Over 80 acres of Maxwell’s farmland invites your family to immerse themselves into “Family Farm Fun,” explained Borger. Hayrides carry passengers to the Giant Maze Celebrating America 250, Pumpkin Patch and Storybook Trail.

“Miniature Pony Rides for $8.00 a ride returns to Maxwell’s and Applejack Ranch featuring llamas, alpacas and donkeys, Bunnyville and an amazing Goat Corral continue to delight kids of all ages,” said Borger. Other rides and activities include:
