Mitch’s To Go and Jacket Potato Officially Open in Pampa

Posted

Located at 1515 N. Hobart inside of Toot ‘n Totum is a powerhouse of hearty, Texas-style goodness in the form of loaded baked potatoes and BBQ: Jacket Potato and Mitch’s To Go.

The duo has deep established roots here in the panhandle, and since partnering up with the Toot ‘n Totum company, they’ve finally made a location right here in Pampa.

“We’re two different entities, but we’re going to operate in the same area,” said District Manager Heather Malena. “We have a Jacket Potato established in Dalhart, but we wanted to bring Mitch’s To Go and Jacket Potato together for Pampa. We’re just hoping to bring y’all some good Texas homestyle BBQ and some big ‘ol potatoes!”

Folks in this area are undoubtedly familiar with Mitch’s Texas Style BBQ as they often frequented Pampa via food truck, serving up mouthwatering, slow cooked BBQ with all the fixin’s. Now instead of waiting for them to make their way back into town, they’re right here to stay as Mitch’s To Go. Their menu is limited, but still serving up plates that are sure to bust your belt including a chopped brisket sandwich, chicken tender plates with plenty of dipping sauces to choose from, the ever-popular chicken and rib plate, and ribs by the rack. Each plate comes with waffle fries, a biscuit, and 24 ounce drink, and they also have their crowd-favorite sides available, such as their signature potato salad and coleslaw, green chile mac and cheese, classic mac and cheese, and pinto beans.

If you’re in the mood for a spud, Jacket Potato is conveniently right there to satiate your starch craving. According to Heather, the most popular potato at the Dalhart location would be the Ranch Hand, consisting of shredded chicken, cheese, bacon bits, chives, and their homemade ranch. Her personal favorite is the Brisket Boss, consisting of chopped brisket, BBQ sauce, cheese, onions, and jalapenos.

The crew of Jacket Potato and Mitch’s To Go are super excited to finally be established in Pampa and are eager to see you for lunch and dinner, so be sure to head on over to Toot ‘n Totum and check them out Monday through Sunday from 11 AM to 8 PM
