Pampa Education Foundation is pleased to announce Dr. Ben Carson, a national leader and world-renown pediatric neurosurgeon, will be speaking in Pampa, TX, on Thursday, October 14th at 7:30 pm at M. K. Brown Civic Auditorium. Dr. Carson is the founder and chairman of the American Cornerstone Institute, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization guided by the principles that make this country great: Faith, Liberty, Community, and Life.
This event is an amazing opportunity for residents of Pampa and the surrounding area to hear from someone instrumental in setting public policy at the highest levels of government and who has changed the lives of countless children and families. Despite growing up in poverty, Dr. Carson’s story is proof that through perseverance and faith in God, you can achieve things never thought possible.
The American Cornerstone Institute’s first flagship initiatives are the ‘Little Patriots’ program and the ‘More Perfect Union Project.’ The ‘Little Patriots’ program is designed to teach young students about our nation’s true history and the importance of Faith, Liberty, Community, and Life. The ‘More Perfect Union Project’ has been developed for adults and seeks to equip Americans to better govern themselves by promoting education in civics and history.
Dr. Carson’s schedule, while in Pampa, will include a general address at M. K. Brown Civic Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 14th. On Friday, October 15th, Dr. Carson is scheduled to speak to students at McNeely Field House on the Pampa High School campus.
