The Pampa United Way 2021 Campaign Kick-Off is set for Aug. 9 at Pampa H20 Aquatic Center and Pingel Park from 6 to 9 p.m.
During the event there will be a cornhole tournament, sign-ups are underway through the start of the event.
The free swim will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and will include the tennis bowl challenge with prizes.
Later in the month will be the Fifth Annual Dine United Banquet at MK Brown Auditorium on Aug. 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. The event will feature speed painter Dan Dunn.
Individual tickets are $35 or $45 at the door. Family tickets are $100 and includes two adults and two children.
The meal will be catered by Desperados. Tickets are available at Pampa United Way at 200 N. Ballard Suite 106 , any of the 13 agencies, at The Pampa News or online at www.pampaunitedway.org.
Pampa United Way is also hosting a fundraiser raffle for a three-night stay at Lake Tahoe, Nev. Tickets are $25 and are available at The Pampa News, any Pampa United Way board member or at Pampa United Way located at 200 N. Ballard Suite 106. The winner will be announced at the Dine United Banquet and you do not need to be present to win.
