On Monday, February 24, Parkway Ford in Pampa celebrated the grand opening of their newly remodeled Ford show room and customer service center while treating the public to a BBQ lunch, games, prizes and a good time.
The remodel had been in the works for about a year and the new open concept design gives customers more of a personal experience with their sales representative and the bright store front gives customers a shining view of the vast inventory that Parkway carries.
General Manager, Desmond Stirgus is excited to present the new showroom and is planning to host weekend get-togethers and cookouts for the public at Parkway, just as a way to say thank you to a community he has grown to love.
“I just want to let everyone know that we’ll always take care of you and we invite everyone down to come check us out,” he said. “They don’t have to buy a car, we just want them to come in and have a good time with us.”
Regina Woods has bought three vehicles at Parkway Ford throughout the years and according to her, as long as they carry Ford, she will always be a customer.
“The customer service is always just so great,” she said. “The new building is extremely nice and everyone is just so very friendly. Everyone in here has called me by my name and it makes the experience so personal. What keeps me coming back are the people that work here. I’ve known Mike Lane forever and some of the salesmen here and Desmond is a super nice guy and has done a wonderful job. I would tell people to come on down here and get yourself a Ford!”
Owner of Parkway Ford, Forbes Durdin was also there to celebrate the grand opening and cut the symbolic ribbon, commending the staff on a job well done and to thank the community for coming out to support the milestone.
“I’ve just loved this community ever since we came here two years ago,” he said. “You guys embraced us with open arms and I’m proud to have a business right here in Pampa.”
