Tail Wagg’n Coffee: An Overload of Cuteness and Caffeine

Posted

Situated at 1204 S. Barnes near the Spring Meadows RV Park in Pampa is a lovely little trailer stirring up a delicious variety of hot and iced coffees to get your morning started, and fresh lemonades to keep you cool as the afternoon heat rolls in.

Owned and operated by Taylor Bradley, Tail Wagg’n Coffee aims to do just what the name suggest: make your tail wag! Named after two adorable Dachshund pups, Millie and Bean, each menu item is reflective of the love Taylor has for her fur babies, and each cup of hot or cold goodness she stirs up is curated with that same love and care.

Coming from a small town in Tennessee, Taylor and her fiance, Austin, have currently made Pampa their home after Austin’s work brought them to our little slice of Texas, where they hope to be for a long while because it’s here that Taylor finally made her long-time dream come true.

“I have always loved making my own coffee and experimenting with flavors, creams, and all kinds of stuff, and I’ve always wanted to open up a coffee trailer or a coffee shop,” she said. “So we thought opening up a coffee trailer would be perfect with us being on the road right now because if something happens and we have to move, we can take it with us.”

When asked what her recommendations are, Taylor of course loves every single item and flavor on the menu, but her top three would be The Millie Delight that features a sweet mixture of vanilla, honey and cinnamon, Sweet Maple with swirls of brown sugar and maple syrup, and her newest concoction, brown sugar pecan. The coffee beans used  are grown and roasted right here in Texas, and with 16 different syrups and flavors to add in, building your own brew is a breeze and sure to satisfy your morning (or afternoon) fuel.

Editor side note: while I’m not able to consume coffee like I used to, I did however snag a dark chocolate/mocha iced coffee for my daughter, but not without taking a swig or five out of it first, and I can personally say (and so can my daughter) that it was fantastic!

When Taylor and Austin bought the trailer in Oklahoma City, it had previously operated as a lemonade stand coined ‘The Lemon Peel’, so Taylor not only wanted to sell coffee out of it, but fresh squeezed lemonade with one of her signature flavors as well, and she also highly recommends adding cream to the tangy refresher.

But even our furry friends need a sweet little refresher too, so if you bring your pup to Tail Wagg’n Coffee, they get a free pup cup with your purchase!

When asked if she would ever consider expanding, Taylor said it is something she will consider, but for now, will enjoy the ride and see where it takes her.

“Our long-term is to expand and get a bigger trailer and do food out of it and make more syrups. There’s a lot more we want to do, but we need to start small first because my thoughts are you can’t start with the biggest and the best of everything. So we’re starting small and hopefully we can expand and do more and have more options for people who may not really like coffee or lemonade.”

The support from the community so far has been overwhelming in the best way possible. Tail Wagg’n Coffee had their soft opening in mid-May, and the amount of traffic that came out to experience the new coffee stop was completely unexpected, but graciously welcomed, and it was then that Taylor knew they had made a rewarding decision in taking the leap.

“This is the closest town to home that we’ve been in, it’s really enjoyable being here and the community has been just great. We appreciate all of our customers that have come in already, and I hope to see new faces and returning faces!”

So now, Tail Wagg’n Coffee is officially open for business Monday through Saturday from the early morning hour of 5 AM until 2 PM, giving folks headed to or from work and everything in between an opportunity to stop by and grab a drink that will put a little pep in your step and a wag in your tail!
