The VFW Post 1657’s first ever Bingo night on Thursday brought in 91 people, a number that is astonishing for a first-time public event, and both the VFW and Meredith Court are jumping with excitement and celebration.
While monthly community Bingo nights have been highly successful for the past year, it’s also the support from other local businesses and organizations that contribute to the overall success.
The VFW and Auxiliary extend their gratitude to Cabot Corp for donating water, Interim for donating chips and hosting the event, the Meredith court for donating desserts and also hosting the event, Pampa Senior Citizens Center for the use of the Bingo cage and balls, and the Moose Lodge for donating the cards.
The next Bingo night is set for June 19 at the VFW, with the chili dog meal starting at 5:45 PM and the game starting at 6:15 PM. The meal plus three Bingo cards are $8, and for those who wish to just play the game can purchase cards for only $1 a piece, with all proceeds going directly to the VFW.
Also be sure to attend Bingo the first Tuesday of the month at Pampa Senior Citizens, located at 500 W. Francis, at 6 PM with cards also just $1 a piece, proceeds going directly to the Center.
