Everyone has their favorite holidays, and everyone has holidays they would rather avoid altogether, but one thing is for certain: happiness is contagious.
For Gray County Constable Jason Rushing, spreading happiness and generating smiles (as well as blushed faces) is not only something he’s absolutely great at, but it’s something that is simply part of his entire nature.
The Pampa News was only one of his many Valentine’s stops he made last Friday. Armed with a bell, a message of love, and an outfit only he could pull off, Pampa’s very own Cupid brought smiles to all of our faces, and reminded us that despite all the discourse we experience on a daily basis and can never seem to escape from, love and laughter trumps all of that.
Thank you, Constable/Cupid, for gracing us with your presence on that day, and thank you for continuing to serve our community, in more ways than one.
