Kelvin Wayne “Kelly” Randall, 66 years old, of Pampa, Texas, passed from this life into eternal rest in the morning hours of Thursday, December 14, 2023, in Amarillo, Texas.

He was born on April 23, 1957, to Ray and Margaret Randall in Pampa.

Since being reared in Pampa, he attended Pampa schools and on June 2, 1979, he married his best friend and soulmate, Rhonda Riggs.

Kelly was a firefighter with the Pampa Fire Department until his retirement in 1995.

He and Rhonda had owned Pampa Fire Extinguisher, Broken Spoke Moto Sports and then finally Advanced Safety Specialist Incorporated (ASSI), an oilfield safety company.

Kelly loved to learn and took every opportunity available to further his knowledge and then, in turn, took pride in teaching others as well.

Kelly was mostly at home while outdoors with the sunshine and wind blowing riding either a dune buggy, a motorcycle or four-wheeler playing in the sand!

He and Rhonda spent countless hours camping, playing, fishing, and enjoying quality family time together making memories.

As he got older, his riding toys got a little slower as he felt it his mission to get the 45 acres at Kristi and Alvin’s farm mowed on his riding mower.

The only one in the whole family, Kelly was an early riser – because according to him, he had “stuff to do.” He was always cheerful, wore a big smile on his face, could sometimes be a little ornery, but loved his family big.

His greatest enjoyment came from spending quality time with his grandkids, sharing stories of old times with them, rehashing history (he was quite a history buff) and watching westerns…just no news!

His arrival into Heaven was eagerly awaited by his wife, Rhonda; parents, Ray and Margaret and a brother, Steve Randall.

Those remaining to carry on his legacy and cherish his memories are two daughters, Kristi Stokes and husband Alvin, Kim Canaday and husband Steve all of Pampa; two sisters, Teresa Dalrymple and husband Wade of Pampa, LeAnn Wood and husband Eddie of Portland, Oregan; six grandchildren, Kasadie Samora and husband Erick, Kellan Stokes, Callyer Stokes, Corwin Stokes, Kayton Stokes, Coltan Randall; two great-granddaughters, Everlee and Ember Somora as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members who will deeply miss him.

Should donations be preferred, the family suggest they be made to the City of Pampa, PO Box 2499, Pampa, TX 79066, to the Attention of Pampa Fire Department in honor of Kelvin.

Celebration of Life Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Winegeart Funeral Home Serenity Chapel with Brother Jim Sinyard officiating. The family has entrusted the cremation care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.
