Altrusa International of Pampa, Texas, Inc. met May 26, 2020 at Pampa Chamber of Commerce with Brenda Tucker, president, presiding. Barb Hahn served as greeter.
The Accent was given by Ann Franklin on the meaning of Memorial Day, a national holiday for remembering those who gave their lives for our freedom.
Kadda Schale conducted a new member initiation for Dr. Angela Jones.
Brenda Tucker, outgoing president, gave her year-end report reflecting on the projects and activities of the club for the past club year. At the conclusion of her report, she was awarded a Lamplighter certificate.
Heidi Spearman who began the year as president before accepting a teaching position was presented a bracelet charm and plant in honor of her time as the club president.

Sheila Winton, newly installed president, announced her theme, “Loving our Flock” and her goals for the new year. She was presented the president’s pin by Brenda Tucker.
Kerrick Horton won the door prize.
The following members were recognized for celebrating birthdays this month: Marian Stroup, Rochelle Lacy, Virginia Fessenden, Chelsi Underwood, Jenifer Richards, Micki Hicks and Pat Johnson.

Kitty Hall was elected to the District Nominating Committee.
