Burnin’ the Bricks set for Saturday

The 18th Annual Burnin’ the Bricks Car Show and Cruise has been planned for June 12.

Registration will be at the Chamber of Commerce building, 200 N Ballard, from 8 until 10 a.m.. The fee will be $25 for each car entered. Goodie bags and door prizes will be available to the first 100 entries. Cars will be parked on N. Cuyler Street from 8 a.m. till 3 p.m. Participant choice top twenty entry trophies and cash prizes and People’s choice trophy will be awarded by High Plains Cruisers at 3 p.m.

Proceeds from this event support the High Plains Cruisers’ scholarship of $2,500 presented to a Pampa High School graduate interested in continuing their education in the mechanical industry. This year’s recipient is Harley Nichols, she is registered at a technical institute for the coming year.

Evening events will start with the Cruise around the “Old Pampa Drag” from 7 until 9 p.m. for a fee of $10 per car (regulations required). To round out the evening a Drive-In movie, “American Graffiti” will be shown at the Chamber of Commerce parking lot at 9 p.m. for FREE!
