Cross Country and Track programs return to Clarendon College for the fall 2021 Semester

CLARENDON, TX: Clarendon College is bringing back the cross country and track programs for the fall 2021 semester.

Clarendon College’s cross country and track teams will be under the leadership of returning Coach Zack Leggett. Having spent the last 4.5 years at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Coach Leggett brings with him a record of success and excellence. President Tex Buckhaults noted that he is excited to have Leggett back with Clarendon College, and is equally excited about the prospects of having cross country and track programs once again.

The cross country and track programs will be bring in some high quality student athletes that will be a great addition to the campus. Leggett’s goal is to compete at a high level and prepare student athletes for future success. He also stated that he and his family are happy about being back in the Texas panhandle. They enjoyed their time here previously, and the opportunity to return to restart the cross country and track programs again is an excellent one.
