Memorial service for Diana Nail Quarles, 79, of Gore, Oklahoma, formerly of Temple, Texas, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Belton.
Ms. Quarles died Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in Gore, Oklahoma.
Ms. Quarles was born August 1, 1944 in Vernon, Texas the daughter of Houston and Elsie Nail. She lived in.... Pampa, Texas, Fort Worth, Texas, Temple, Texas and Gore, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Downtown Singles Competition Line Dancing Club in Ft. Worth and the Red Hat’s Sanctified Sisters in Belton. Her life was centered around her family and friends, she loved to go camping, riding horses and driving jeeps and dune buggies in the mountains of Colorado. The greatest gift she had was the ability to light up a room with her smile, her laugh was contagious and she made friends wherever she went. She truly was one of the most kind hearted people you could ever meet and she will be greatly missed by anyone that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Herbert Nail and Bryant Nail; and sister Kathy Nail Fritsche.
Survivors include sons; Erick and wife Jo Quarles of Gore, OK, Tim and wife Deanna Quarles of Cookson,OK; one brother Wilburn and wife Rita Nail of Lubbock,TX and one sister Jeanette Finney of Temple,TX; grandchildren: Ashley and Casey Turner of Hampton, AR,Tyler Quarles and Alyssa Mann of Las Vegas, NV,Garret and Kaci Quarles of Salado,TX, Nicole Pettigrew and Nick Linza Of Justin,TX; great grandchildren: Rylan Turner,Chloey Turner, Jaiden Barnes, Blake Barnes, Ethan Pettigrew, Stockton Quarles, Finley Quarles, Avery Quarles and Emily Quarles; great-great-grandchildren: Grayson Turner,Roselyn Turner,and Knox Childs.
