Harvest House Ministries of Pampa has recently given food to families for Thanksgiving and Christmas. In November we were able to receive the turkeys through the High plains Food Bank in Amarillo. The Pampa Regional Medical Center helped us by donating the food for the side dishes to provide a nice Thanksgiving dinner. A special thanks to Keith Anderson, Public Relations Director for PRMC, for purchasing and delivering the food to us for the 47 families that came through our drive-thru.

B&L Pipeco Services did a fundraiser through the employees across their sites in Texas. Reagan Herman the Materials Manager and Pampa Site Lead, spoke to the company’s CEO out of Houston and shared the vision to purchase food items to be given out by Harvest House. Their many individual employees as well as the company donated money so that all the food could be ordered and distributed to families by Christmas. Over 50 families received a ham, sweet potatoes, green beans, other vegetables, milk, butter, bread, cake mix and frosting as well as several other items.

Thanks to everyone who participated in both of these endeavors from contributors of money and food to all of the volunteers who put in many, many hours to make it all a success.

Harvest House is located at 736 S. Cuyler Street and is open on Thursday mornings from 10:00-10:30.
