Varsity boys beat a very good West Plains team last night by the score of 61-54. It was the best overall game we have played this year. Huston Skinner led the team with 14 points. Dalton Booth, in his first varsity district game, scored 13 points off the bench. Our defensive intensity was the difference in the second half. We knocked down clutch free throws at the end to ice the game. I am very proud of the heart and effort shown tonight by the team.
JV boys lost a tough game last night. They played well in the first half, but West Plains was too much in the second half. Jose Alonzo and Zanden Salazar led the team with 10 points a piece.
Freshman boys moved to 5-0 in district with a 39-34 win over West Plains. It was a great defensive effort by the entire team. Tristan Bagwell and KB Branch were huge on the defensive end with timely rebounds.
