Jump-N-Jive will be hosting a Youth Event on Friday, Jan. 31 from 8 until 11 p.m. The event will be free to attend.
The event will focus on praise, worship, sermon and prayer in a child-friendly environment.
“We will have many pastors attending, but it’s not going to be a church hosting it,” says Robert Rivas, owner of Jump-N-Jive.
Although a church is not hosting the event, Rivas says that many churches in the community have helped to make the event special and have contributed generously.
“[At the] last event, we had over 80 youth show up. About 50 accepted Jesus Christ,” said Rivas.
Other activities will include jumping and laser tag.
Snacks like pizza, hot dogs and nachos will be available for children in attendance as well as beverages.
Rivas would like for the event to become regularly held, either bi-weekly or monthly, at Pampa’s Jump-N-Jive and is accepting donations to help cover the cost of snacks for the event.
