On Saturday, August fourth, The Pampa Lions Club held their annual day and night golf tournament at Hidden Hills golf course. Several four-person teams played it out for store credit in prizing. In fourth place came the team of J. Resendiz, P. Gomez, A. Gomez and M. Ramirez with a score of 60. In third place came the team of G. Davis, J. Davis, D. Norris, and R. Fields with a score of 57. In second place came the team of J. Lemons, T. Hutto, C. Martindale, and C. Killgo with a score of 55. In first place came the team of C. Williams, S. Williams, M. Briscrino, and D. Williams with a score of 55. Among the winning teams were also several raffle winners. Casey Baird was exceptionally lucky, taking home both the grand prize of a set of irons and the second prize of a driver. Izak Butter won a golf bag, Mark Purcell won a putter and Chris Didway won a gift certificate, but all in attendance were winners in an evening of fun.
