Reflections on Military Service
This Saturday, August 5th at 1:30pm, Terry Moore will be the guest speaker at the Texas Panhandle War Memorial and Education Center. Terry served in the US Navy, then taught German and French at Amarillo College for 46 years.
Terry will be speaking about the Normandy Invasion of World War II, drawing on his years of experience as a military history educator with the WWII Commemorative Committee.
Nurturing a lifelong curiosity, Terry has conducted numerous interviews with German WWII veterans, amassed a large military autograph collection, and served as the president of the Amarillo chapter of the Air Force Association from 2003-2006.
“Reflections on Military Service,” our guest speaker series, is free to the public thanks to the generosity of the Mary E. Bivins Foundation. Light snacks will be served.
