Fritch, Texas – Guess what’s new at Lake Meredith National Recreation Area?  There is new webcam at Sanford Yake Boat Ramp which is live on the park website.  Did you know you can see what’s happening live at Lake Meredith National Recreation Area without leaving your home?  Check out our new webcam for the latest conditions.

This advanced technological addition to Lake Meredith was made possible by the Friends of Lake Meredith and Alibates Flint Quarries, who provided the funding to purchase this high-tech equipment. The staff at Lake Meredith would like to sincerely thank the Friends Group for providing the funding for this project.  A thank you also extends to Wright-On Bait and Tackle, who provided access to the pole for the webcam.

The Lake Meredith Webcam launched live on Friday, June 4, 2021.   Attached is the first clear and detailed image taken with the new web camera.  This webcam will allow visitors a unique view of the conditions at Sanford Yake. The weather can change quickly at the lake and currently conditions will be available with the webcam.

The surrounding communities, as well as visitors from around the world, will be able to see live conditions of Lake Meredith anytime.  Enjoy the new Lake Meredith National Recreation Area Live-Streaming Webcam at: https://www.nps.gov/lamr/learn/photosmultimedia/webcams.htm
