The City of Pampa announced over the weekend six more cases in Gray County, bringing the total to nine.
On Saturday, the City announced just after 6:30 p.m. they and Gray County were notified by the Texas Department of Health Services of two more positive cases.
This announcement was followed up by another on Sunday afternoon where four more cases were identified, bringing Pampa/Gray County total to nine.
Four of the cases were believed to have been community spread and those who were believed to be a high-risk exposure will be contacted by the DSHS.
The City stressed the importance of being vigilant in practicing the new norms to slow the spread of the virus and staying home.
