Texas Federation of Republican Women state officers visit Pampa

The Top O’ Texas Republican Women were pleased to be visited recently by three Texas Federation of Republican Women State Officers.

Glynis Chester, President, Kit Whitehill, First Vice President, and Corrine Miklosh, Vice President of Campaign Activities came to the Texas Panhandle to visit the TFRW clubs in our area.

The state officers and members of the Top O’ Texas Republican Women of Pampa were treated to a delicious lunch in the home of Mrs. Wesley (Kathryn) Green.

It was an opportunity for the officers to visit members, discuss activities of both the state and local organizations, and learn how both groups can work together. Members of TOTRW shared some of the projects in which our women have been involved, such as the Leap of Kindness Day in which members presented loaves of bread to all First Responders in Pampa.

The club prepared refreshments which were served at the recently held Candidate’s Forum.

We had a dinner featuring Lt. Col. Alan West as well as a community gathering where Tig from the movie “Thirteen Hours” was the guest speaker.

The TOTRW helped register voters before the Primary on March 3.

The organization strives to support Republican candidates and the party ideals in all its activities.

Although state officers have visited in the past, this is the first time the state president has ever come to Pampa along with two other officers. It was a delightful gathering!
