In the Texas High Plains grain markets the bulk of bids were 14 to 17 cents lower grain sorghum; 3 cents lower on wheat; 8 to 9 cents lower on corn. Most of the elevators have now switched to using the May contract on both corn and wheat.
The May contract closed 8.75 cents lower on corn, and 2.75 cents lower on May on KC wheat.
Prices paid or bid to producers delivered to country elevators as of 3 p.m. Grain sorghum quoted per hundredweight; wheat, corn and soybeans per bushel.
