The City of Pampa and Gray County were notified on Tuesday evening about two more positive cases of COVID-19.

The new cases brings the total to 11 cases and the cause of the transmission is still under investigation.

These new cases are also isolated in the medical facility.

On Monday evening, the Pampa city commissioners voted, unanimously affirmed and extended the stay-at-home order that was originally set to expire on April 8.

The commission extended the order through April 27 at 11:59 p.m.

The order will be re-evaluated at the city commission meeting on that date.

The order, COVID-19 updates and frequently-asked questions can be found at www.pampaalerts.com.

Over the weekend, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice confirmed on their Facebook page there was one positive offender test at the Jordan Unit, prompting the entire unit to be fully locked down.
