Two organic production workshops have been set for March 24 in Canyon and March 25 in Vernon by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
The High Plains workshop will be at the West Texas A&M University Agricultural Sciences Complex Piehl-Schaeffer Pavilion, Canyon. Registration starts at 8 a.m., followed by the program at 8:15 a.m.
The Rolling Plains workshop will be at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center, 11708 Highway 70 S., Vernon. Registration begins at 8 a.m., followed by the program at 8:25 a.m.
“The workshops are in response to an increase in interest in organic production as well as research by Dr. Curtis Adams at Vernon,” said Jourdan Bell, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension agronomist, Amarillo.
