Altrusa International of Pampa, Texas met on June 13, 2023, at First Methodist Church with Ann Franklin, President, presiding. Amanda Smithee and Karina Calzada attended as guests. Kadda Schale and Chris Stillwagon served as greeters.
Brenda Tucker gave the Accent on the three types of service hours completed by Altrusa members.
Pat Johnson, Scholarship Chair, presented the Geraldine Rampy Adult Vocational Award in the amount of $1000 to Karina Calzada. Karina plans to attend Amarillo College and enroll in the Medical Assistant program.
Pat Johnson also reported on the Billie Dixon Astra Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1000 which was awarded to Ashley Bueno at the PHS Honors Assembly in May.
