Four killed in collision near New Mexico border

Four people were killed in a two-vehicle collision 12 miles west of Adrian in Oldham County on Monday afternoon.

At 1:40 p.m. Monday, a 2016 Kenworth truck-tractor/semi-trailer, driven by Gill Singh, 39, Stockton, Calif. was driving east on Interstate 40. A 2001 GMC Yukon, driven by Sabrina Watson, 25, Edmond, Okla. was driving west in the east-bound lanes and crashed head on into the truck. The Yukon came to rest in the center median on its passenger side facing east. The truck-tractor came to rest across both eastbound lanes facing east.

Singh was transported to Amarillo Northwest Texas Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Watson and three children, a seven-year-old female, a three-year-old child and an eight-month old baby, all of Edmond, Okla. were pronounced deceased by Oldham County Justice of the Peace, Kristy O’ Malley.

The crash remains under investigation. Information may change, be corrected, or added based on the investigator’s findings.
