Kathy S. Shipp, 65, of Pampa, passed away, February 4, 2021 in Pampa.
Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, February 8, 2021 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jamison Hancock of Briarwood Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. The service will be live streamed through the funeral home website.
Kathy was born on October 6, 1955 in Peru, Illinois to Florence and Thomas Kepper. She grew up and attended school in Illinois. After high school she entered the Healthcare Industry working as a nurse, a career that spanned over 20 years. Kathy would move to Pampa in the mid 90’s and would reside ever since. She later met Mike Shipp and they married on February 14, 2003. Kathy was an animal lover who liked to care for her cats. But her family, especially her grandchildren, brought her the most pride and joy. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Shipp of the home; a daughter, Katlin Garza and husband Marc of Pampa; two sons, Patrick Passini and wife Tandi of Tuttle, OK and Daniel Passini and wife Amber of Amarillo; five granddaughters, Christen, Aubrie, Sarah, Blair, and Soren; two grandsons, Thomas and Alex; a sister, Linda Passini of Tennessee; a brother, Ray Keeper of Illinois; and other extended family.
