Keri Lyn Shellhammer, 51 years of age, of Pampa, peacefully fell asleep to wake up in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at her home in Pampa. She graced this world with her presence on March 16, 1970 to Wayne and Irene Moxon in Pampa, Texas.
She graduated from Lefors High School and had recently moved back to Pampa from Lubbock. Keri was anything but shy, as a matter of fact, she was completely opposite of that. She adored being the center of attention and always made an entrance. It didn’t matter that she sometimes had to be a “ham” or “showoff” to make others laugh, she always left a lasting impression. A few of her little idiosyncrasies were her ability to cook anything, lending an ear to anyone in need, and the ability to be late to literally everything she did!
Although she was full of spunk, playfulness, and laughter, she was extremely serious when it came to her girls and family. Only wanting them to be happy and succeed, she fully supported them in their dreams. Her nurturing personality extended far beyond her family causing many to call her “Momma Keri”, and along with her family will share her loss in their lives.
Keri was greeted at Heaven’s Gates by her father, Wayne Moxon; maternal grandparents, Newton and Faye Elam; paternal grandparents, Marvin and Leola Moxon and nephew, Darren Moxon.
Those she has left here to carry on her legacy are her mother, Irene Oatman and husband Harvey of Clarendon; daughters, Carizma Vaquera of Pampa, Tereza Soto and husband Cris Larrazolo of Pampa, Kira James of Pampa, Kaci Maddox of San Antonio, Maleesa Martinez of Pampa; a brother, Kevin Moxon and wife Lois of Pampa; sisters, Lisa Blandford and husband Larry of Pampa, Amnesty Oatman of Clarendon; ten grandchildren, Ayiiia, Toval, Arianna, Noah, Kaiiden, Kinslee, Ma’Kiya, Amaya, Atticus, Lenny; her best friend and furbaby, Tonka and many, many friends and extended family.
Keri will be available for viewing Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 9 am until 8 pm at Winegeart Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Trinity Fellowship Church. In honoring Keri’s wishes, she will be cremated following her celebration of life services. The family has entrusted the care of their precious loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.
Those who are honoring the family as pallbearers are Cris Larrazolo, Ryan Milligan, Joseph James and Zachary Lewis. Honorary pallbearers are Harvey Oatman, Kevin Moxon, Kaiiden James and Cris Larrazolo, Jr..
