The family of Nan Osborne will celebrate her life of 77 years at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Her family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, March 25, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. She passed on Sunday, March 20, 2022.

On October 16, 1944, Nan was born to Jack and Mary Stovell in Alpine, Texas. She married Scott on June 6th, 1975 at First Christian Church in Pampa, Texas.

The Good Lord decided he needed our precious matriarch more than her family and friends needed her. Nan began her newest project last Sunday afternoon with the bonus of being with her parents and guiding our late son-in-law Ron Rice once again. We made sure Sunday; she knew it was a job well done. Her children and her grandchildren were left with a solid foundation to carry on her work with the increasing number of great grandchildren. There was no greater joy for Mema than to see her granddaughters bring their babies for a visit. We are comforted knowing we will get to see Mema once again and she will be looking over our shoulders during our time here on earth.

To most, Mema was larger than life, not because she tried to be or even wanted to be, but she always left those thoughts with everyone she met.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Osborne; children, Jeff (Rene) Hofacket, Colene  Rice, Jacque Osborne; grandchildren, Chelsea (Ryan) Ely, Christen Vogler, Allyssa (Erik) Pagel, Schanel (Stetson) Williams, Heather (Joey DeWitt) Hofacket, Elizabeth (Ryan) Skloss, Rachel (Dennis) Sprouse, Tracy (Will) Lester, Megan Rice;19 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews that loved their Aunt Nan; siblings, Bob Stovell, Bill (Marilyn) Stovell.

She was preceded in death by father, Jack Stovell; mother, Mary Stovell; son-in-law, Ron Rice; sister-in-law, Kay Stovell.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Nan Osborne has designated Texas Girls & Boys Ranch (txgbr.org) and The Organization for Autism Research (ResearchAutism.org) for memorial contributions donated in her memory.
