Tommie Lopez Perez, 87, of Pampa, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in Pampa.
Rosary will be recited 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel.
Mass will be 10:00 AM Monday, November 13, 2023 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Arockiaraj Malapady (Raj) officiating.
Burial will be 3:00 PM Monday, November 13, 2023 in Dimmitt Cemetery in Dimmitt, Texas.
Burial and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Tommie was born December 23, 1935 in Karnes City, Texas. Growing up, she lived in several communities.
On November 13, 1961, she married Frank Perez, he passed away on June 24, 1999.
In May of 2009, she moved to Pampa to be with her daughter.
Tommie was a long-time member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
She enjoyed working in the yard and having beautiful decoration and flowers at her house.
She also loved to play Bingo and eat popcorn every time she had a chance.
Tommie enjoyed being outdoors, seeing her pretty rose garden and feeding birds.
She is survived by her daughter, Silvia Strite; four grandchildren, Jessica Martinez, Robert Strite, Bryan Strite, and Jimmy Perez; nine great grandchildren, Desmariah Martinez, Athenna Bryan, Brandon Strite, Justin Strite, Julio Silva, Izayaih Strite, Gustavo Torres, Adan Torres, and Ryan Strite; three close friends, Maria Elena Barrios, Sonia Soliz, and Lupita Machado.
