Barbara Denham, 75, of Skellytown, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in Skellytown.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Carter Pirtle, pastor at First Baptist Church in Skellytown, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Barbara was born on April 25, 1948 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Ralph Duke and Mildred Chandler Duke. She attended school in the White Deer and Skellytown school system and was a graduate of White Deer High School in 1966. After graduating, Barbara began working in the textile industry, first in Pampa then later in Borger. She married Kenneth David Denham on February 21, 1969 in Pampa. They were married until his passing on December 30, 2014.

After working in the textile industry, Barbara became a stay-at-home mom to her two boys, Bryan and Steven. She later went back to work as a custodian for the White Deer Schools. Barbara continued working for 25 years until her retirement in 2007. She enjoyed sewing, when she was able to, and spending time with her family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mildred Duke; her husband, Kenneth David Denham; and one brother, David Duke.

She is survived by her two sons, Bryan Denham and wife Daisy of Amarillo and Steven Denham and wife Tiffany of Skellytown; and four grandchildren, Damian Denham, Job Denham, Joah Denham, and Lillian Denham.
