Debbie Thompson Taylor, 66, passed away on February 19, 2023, at home in Pampa with her family at her side.
A remembrance ceremony celebrating Debbie’s life will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, February 24, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church in Pampa with her family sharing their stories. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Debbie was a Christmas baby, born to Clark and Jean Thompson in Dumas, Texas on December 25, 1956, so her abiding loyalty to Christ and family feel divinely written from the very start. Debbie was a fierce advocate for her family, friends, and anyone in need, surrounding them with love and encouragement, providing physical resources and labor, and always offering up countless prayers. She was a deeply loving woman who tirelessly gave of herself.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 33 years, Don K. Taylor of Pampa; three children, Dr. Jason A. Etheredge, Rebekah J. Tanner and her husband Ryan L. Tanner, and Joshua T. Etheredge; three grandchildren, Noah Riley Phillips, Benjamin Finnius Etheredge, and Nicklas Finnian Etheredge; and one sibling, Shelly Sexton of Bella Vista, Arkansas.
