Dorinda Haynes, 59, of Pampa, passed away on October 21, 2023, in Childress.

Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the First Methodist Church in Pampa with Rev. Jarrod Neal, pastor, officiating. A burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Dorinda’s service will be livestreamed through the funeral home’s website.

Dorinda was born on July 18, 1964, in Pampa to Eldon and Betty Maxwell. She grew up and graduated high school in Pampa. Upon completing high school, she enrolled in college, later graduating with a bachelor’s degree. After college, Dorinda started her family and spent most of her life being a terrific mother to her three children. She took excellent and loving care of her children and immaculate care of her home. Dorinda was a fabulous cook who always had breakfast and dinner ready for her family. She was also a very supportive mother who tried to attend all the children’s games and extracurricular activities.

Once all the kids graduated, Dorinda started her career in office administration. She worked in various roles that included bookkeeping and medical office administration. Dorinda loved her Lord and her church and enjoyed singing. She will be remembered as loving and caring woman who put others before herself.

Dorinda was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents.

She is survived by her two daughters, Ashton Jones and husband Luke of Andrews, and Maddie Suttle and husband Kaden of Lubbock; a son, Heath Haynes and wife Ericka of Denver City; a granddaughter, Avery Jones of Andrews; a granddaughter on the way, Saylor Suttle; her parents, Eldon and Betty Maxwell of Pampa; and by other extended family.
