Erin Sue Reid Crane
Erin Sue Reid Crane, 65, of Pampa, passed away on November 22, 2023 in Amarillo.
Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jim Fox, pastor of Howardwick First Baptist Church, officiating. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory. The service will be livestreamed through the funeral home website.
Sue was born December 10, 1957 in Canadian to Walter and Juanita Reid. She graduated from Rockport-Fulton High School in 1976. After high school, Sue moved to Canadian to live with her grandparents for a few years. In the early 80’s, she made her way to Pampa, where she made her home. Sue worked for the City of Pampa for many years, retiring in 2004 as the purchasing agent. She enjoyed her weekly card games with her friends and also enjoyed playing games on the computer. In her spare time, she would spend time cross stitching. Sue loved spending time with her daughter, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Christa Crane of Pampa; three sisters, Brenda Hampton and husband Jimmy of Howardwick, Cathy Hearron and husband Charles of Pampa, and Vickie Chan and husband Stan of Canada; brother, Jimmy Fossett and wife Angie of Pampa; three grandchildren, Danielle Franks, Cassie Franks, Willow Franks, and Mireya Franks is on the way; great grandchildren, Lily Dubose and Genesis Rucker is on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
