Eva “Christine” Ferris Moman, 60, of Pampa, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Full Armor Fellowship with Rev. Mike Carlisle, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Cremation.
Christine was born on March 27, 1963 in Pampa to M.B. and Clessie Kimbrell Ferris. She married Danny Moman on November 17, 1984. They were together for 23 years until his passing on May 20, 2008. Christine was a homemaker for most of her life, she loved caring for her family and their home. She also worked as a private housekeeper for several years and as a cook at Pizza Hut for four years. Christine also enjoyed serving at her church by cleaning for six years. She was a devoted member at Full Armor Fellowship. Christine loved to serve her family, her church, and her community in whatever way she could.
She enjoyed working in her garden and spending time with her family. Christine took her children to the lake as often as she could and loved fishing with them. She also took her family on a trip to Disney World, that left them with lifelong memories. Christine loved spoiling her grandchildren and making them feel special. She was very proud of her sobriety and recently celebrated 10 years of being sober.
Christine was preceded in death by her father, M.B. Ferris; her husband, Danny Moman; her sister, Kathy Williams; her brother-in-law, Stretch Williams; and one grandson, Austin Burton.
She is survived by her mother, Clessie Ferris; her four children, Misty Powell and husband Jason, Dean Moman, Danny Moman, and Kevin Burton; her daughter-in-law, Melissa Dominguez; two brothers, Bruce Ferris and wife Ginger, and Dale Ferris; four grandsons, Dane, Arion, Blake, and Jacob; four granddaughters, Breana, Cheyenne, Katlyn, and Abby; a dear niece, Leslie Finnegan and husband Kevin; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
