Jimmy “Jim” Wayne Haiduk, 84, of Dallas passed away on November 23, 2023 in Dallas. 

Rosary will be at 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White Deer.

Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White Deer with Rev. Hrudaya Raju Kondamudi, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Jim was born September 1, 1939 to Telesfor Frank and Alice Belle Warminski Haiduk in Pampa. Jim was the third born of four boys and was raised on the family farm northeast of White Deer. He attended school in White Deer and graduated from White Deer ISD in 1958. Jim always held a fond remembrance of his school years and kept lifelong friendships with many of his classmates. After graduating from high school, Jim spent three years in the National Guard and was stationed in Fort Polk in Louisiana. He then moved to Dallas, where he lived for the remainder of his life. Jim was employed by Lockheed Martin and retired from there. 

Jim had a love for horticulture, and a talent for flowers and making flower arrangements. Jim cared for his lawn and the adjoining neighbor’s lawns. He made a show place of their neighborhood. Jim won “Lawn of the Month” many times, with the most recent being this spring. He also was a talented artist. Jim created pencil renderings of the “original homeplace”, the Sphynx, pyramids, and the Coliseum. Jim was an avid collector, with his two most impressive collections being all things pertaining to ancient Egypt and over 40 model ships he assembled himself. Jim was an excellent cook, and a great friend and neighbor. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his two older brothers, Fabian Haiduk and Richard Haiduk; and a nephew Ronnie Haiduk. 

Survivors include his brother, LeRoy Haiduk and wife Anita of White Deer; nieces and nephews, Brad Haiduk and wife Janie, and Jeff Haiduk all of White Deer, Mark Haiduk and wife Renae of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Paula Wiley of Vero Beach, Florida, Pam Putnam and husband Doug of Mount Vernon, Brenda Via and husband John of Waxahachie, Shirley McCary and husband Kevin of Mansfield, and Tammy Kazmierski and husband Mickey of Arlington; great nieces and nephews, Curstin Haiduk, Clair Crutchfield, Cassidy Bichsel and husband Andrew, Jacey Haiduk, Chloe Haiduk, Wes Wiley and wife Shea, Clint Wiley and wife Deanna, Matt Putnam and wife Sandra, Josh Putnam, Annie Ellis and husband Tyler, Carly Haiduk and husband Blaine Hall, Cody Via and wife Kristen, Colton Via, Grant McCary, Brett Kazmierski and wife Jessica, Matt Kazmierski and wife Alyson; great-great nieces and nephews, Brynli Bischel, Jace Wiley, Jax Wiley, Gabe Wiley, Porter Jane Hall, Evey Ellis, Everett Ellis, Emmitt Ellis, Brett Kazmierski II, Jase Kazmierski, and Maddox Kazmierski.
