Kim Brothers, 65, of Odessa, and formerly of Amarillo, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, in Odessa.

Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Norman Rushing, retired pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating, and Rev. Rick Parnell, retired Baptist minister, assisting. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Kim was born on August 26, 1958, in Pampa, to Ed and Kay Harris. She attended Pampa schools, graduating from Pampa High School in 1977. Soon after school, Kim began working at Pampa Regional Hospital in the ER at the admissions desk as a receptionist. Several years later, she moved to Amarillo and was employed at BSA Hospital. While there she served as the claims verifier for 27 years. Kim retired on August 26, 2017. On November 30, 2017, Kim married the love of her life, Billy Brothers. The two were happily married the last six years, and they loved each other’s company. 

In her spare time, Kim enjoyed doing work around the house, whether it was inside or outside. She loved planting flowers and was always decorating the house. Kim adored her dog, Bella. Kim grew up attending Central Baptist Church and became a member of First Baptist Church in Pampa as a young adult. Kim was a sweet and caring lady, and she will be missed by all that knew her.

Kim is preceded in death by her father, Ed Harris.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Brothers; mother, Kay Harris; sister, Debbie Francis and husband Richard; nephew, Tabor Francis and wife Leslie; niece, Leanna Pollard and husband Jody; great-nephews, Hudson Pollard and Lawson Pollard; and cousin, Brenda Davis and husband Bobby.
