Lucas Aaron Hutchinson, 23, of Pampa, went home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior early Sunday morning on September 24, 2023.

Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Ed Sattesahn, pastor of First Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Lucas was born June 24, 2000 in Amarillo, 3 months premature, to Ethan Wayne and Monica Suzette Stephens Hutchinson. Lucas attended the special needs classes in Pampa from the age of 3 until 18. His favorite thing was watching the school buses bring the kids to school.  He loved music, especially music from the 80’s. Lucas also enjoyed riding around with his mom, dad (aka Big Daddy E.), and his brothers.

Lucas’s life was not easy, due to all of his health issues, but the Lord gave him strength to survive 23 years. The strength he showed every day was an inspiration to his family. Although Lucas will be greatly missed by his family, they are comforted knowing the second, he entered into Heaven, his body was made perfect in Christ Jesus and no longer in pain.

Lucas was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Jr. Hutchinson and Melba Lesher, Ed and Dorothy Gattis, Wilson and Zora Stephens, and O.B. Elkins; step grandfather, Richard Anderson.

Survivors include his parents, Ethan and Monica Hutchinson; brother, Reece; twin brother, Tyler; grandmother, Suzan Anderson; grandparents, Dewey and Shirley Hutchinson; grandfather, Coy Stephens and wife Ellen; great grandmother, Jean Elkins; Aunt Melissa, Uncle Zane; and cousins Brittany and Bailee.

The family would like to thank BSA Hospice of the Southwest and hospice nurse, Kendra Riggle, for the care they showed Lucas.
