Melodee Brooke Marlow, a mere 43 years of age, respectfully won her battle with cancer Wednesday, December 8, 2021, as she took Jesus’ hand and became completely healed in an instant for eternity! She was born on September 6, 1978, to Donovan and Valorie in Oklahoma.
Having a tender and giving heart, Melodee wouldn’t hesitate to do anything within her power to help someone in need. Although she was naturally very tenderhearted, sweet natured and soft spoken, she was a true fighter as she battled cancer for over four years. She leaned heavily in her faith and always remained high spirited until her battle was won. Melodee had a devoted love for her family and friends and richly valued their love in return. She enjoyed cooking and watched all the cooking shows to try and better her skills. Another of her all-time favorite hobbies was singing. She absolutely loved to sing karaoke and was good at it too! Her love, tenacity for life and smile will be missed by so many.
She had been preceded in death by her father, Donovan.
Her loved ones that are left with a void in their hearts are her mother, Valorie Steel of Oklahoma; two sons, Donovan Addington of Amarillo, Bradley Abney of Oklahoma; three brothers, Jurny Mundell, Don Mundell both of Pampa, David Mundell of Oklahoma; sister, Harmoni Marlow of Oklahoma and special friend, Mike Addington of LaPorte, Texas.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services are scheduled for 5:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2021, at The Hampton Inn Conference Room, 2820 North Perryton Parkway, Pampa, Texas 79065. The family has entrusted the cremation care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.
