Micaela Miranda, 77, of Pampa, passed away on December 18, 2023, in Pampa with family by her side.
Funeral mass will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 21, 2023, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Arockiaraj Malapady (Raj), officiating. A burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the funeral home.
Micaela was born on June 22,1946 in Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose and Rosa Torres. She grew up and attended school in Mexico. Micaela later married Juan Miranda and soon after began their large and loving family that included nine sons and a daughter. Juan would precede her in death in 2001.
Micaela and Juan came to the United States for more opportunities and to be closer to their children in 1993. She was a fun-loving woman who liked to go shopping, going to garage sales, and when she could, she would return to Mexico to see family and go to dances. Micaela loved all her family greatly, especially her grandchildren. Above all she was a godly woman who loved her lord and prayed the rosary and for all her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Micaela was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and by two sons, Juan Miranda, Jr., and Jaime Miranda.
She survived by her children, Felix Miranda and wife Brenda, Emiliano Miranda and wife Laura, Francisco Miranda and wife Martina, Jose Miranda, Enrique Miranda and wife Jesenya, Raul Miranda and wife Anna, Liliana Espino and husband Ereasmo, and Ivan Miranda and wife Linda; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and other extended family members.
