Tony Moralez, 80, of Pampa, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, in Pampa.

Tony was born on June 24, 1941, in El Paso to Raymon and Lucretia Grace Morales. He was raised in Colorado and attended schools there, graduating in 1959. After graduating, he moved to San Diego, California for work and good weather. Tony worked in a shipyard, repairing naval ships during the Vietnam War. He also worked at Anthony’s Fish Grotto and drove transit buses for over 20 years. On December 19, 2007, he married his love, Terry Gyles, in California. The couple moved to Pampa in 2021. Tony loved the Lord and was always listening to online sermons. He and Terry especially liked to listen to Dr. David Jeremiah and John Hagee. Tony was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church as long as he had been in Pampa. Tony was always active and hated to be idle. He enjoyed listening to music, loved to be with family and his dogs, and was the cook of his home. Tony was an amazing man and will be greatly missed by his family.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Terry of the home; his daughter, Lydia Moralez of Princeton; his son, Antonio R. Moralez of San Diego, California; step-son, Philip Wilson and wife Melissa of San Diego, California; grandchildren, Sara, Natalee, Brielle, and Madysynn, all of San Diego, California; one sister, Nancy Sharrow of Denver, Colorado; 10 nieces, Marie Lucero, Stephanie Lucero, Bonita Barela, Nancy Barela, Janet Barela, Tracy Abeyta, Jackie Mares, Dolores Garcia, Patsy Garcia, and Jolynn Garcia, all of Denver, Colorado; 5 nephews, Joe Lucero, George Lucero, Eloy Barela, Fernando Macias, and David Garcia, Jr., all of Denver, Colorado; great-nieces, Justina Lucero and Shawndee Lucero; great-nephew, Joshua Lucero; and numerous other relatives.
